Finding the Upper Room

 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Acts 1:8 KJV

The Lord says, My baptism of grace comes by My Spirit. For I AM the Baptizer. I give unto My people freely when they come to Me. You are to tarry, says the Lord. For I shall give thee power from on high  to be a witness of Me unto all of the Earth. Seek not to do as to your own will. Seek to know the One that you are serving before placing yourself in service. Do not merely speak of Me in vain repetition. For one cannot complete My work without My power. Seek My process in your life, says the Lord. Seek My purpose, My anointing. Go forth and know that I AM with thee. For the completion of every good work shall be by My hand. My anointing is tangible, says the Lord. Praise Me for the infilling of My Spirit. Wait upon Me to fill thee. I AM to be experienced in this natural realm. If one will not seek Me now, they cannot know My presence in the time to come. For one cannot speak My name except by the Holy Ghost. Know that My Spirit is essential for thy salvation. For by My Spirit alone, is one ushered forward in the last day. For none can know the time nor the hour of My coming, says the Lord.

And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.”  Acts 1:9 KJV

To Be in Awe of Jesus

The instruction of the Lord is finality. This majestic occurrence left the apostles speechless, in awe. I love the dramatic entrances and exits of Jesus. God wrapped in flesh, born of a virgin to be crucified, dead, and buried, to then rise again as the Glorified Resurrected Lamb. The fulfillment of His will demands such dramatic occurring. Such a great task of being Savior of all demands great power and movement. Jesus deserves constant awe. The presence of awe brings our attention and heart in alignment with His will. Keep your gaze upon Him, just as His apostles. See what He has in store for you in His kingdom.

And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.”  Acts 1:10-11 KJV

Jesus Gives Assurance at Every Moment

The Lord says, I send My messengers in this day to speak the utterance of My Spirit. For I shall return in the same manner in which I left. For with a great cloud of witnesses, I shall come, and be seen by all. For all shall bow before Me in that day. For every knee shall bow, every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Know that I have patterns and principles that come forth in the study of My Word. For I shall prepare My people for My return, just as I prepared My apostles and disciples for My leaving. Some had doubt along the way. I AM a patient God, says the Lord. I shall wait for thee to come, but I AM to be sought while I can be found. For today is the day of salvation. Know that I wait for thee. Stop the bustle of the day, and know that I wait. Do not live your life without your God.  For I AM to be the center of all. Be assured of My power this day. For just as My set apart ones walked with Me then, thee are to walk with Me now. For I have sent another Comforter, says the Lord. Enter into My Rest, says the Lord. Be filled with My Spirit in My baptism of power. For it is I that live in you. Many have repented, but few know My Rest. For this is the Rest and this is the Refreshing. For I shall call the weary to Rest. I AM here, says the Lord. Seek Me in prayer in the night hour. Seek Me in praise. For at the utterance of My name, I shall be near unto thee.  Read Acts 1:12-14

The Prayer Meeting of All Prayer Meetings

Obedience is beautiful in the eyes of the Lord. For obedience alone is a maker of faith, one of trust and of revelation. Knowing who Jesus is brings one to full devotion to His Word. No questioning is found is this portion of scripture. I pray that the Lord would give all of us the awe of His revelation; of who He is. Upon receiving the Words of the Lamb, the followers of Christ returned to Jerusalem. For as they entered the Upper Room,

These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.” Acts 1: 14 KJV

Prayer is such a gift that we have, but it is so overlooked and underserved in ministry. The single most important element to walking with the Lord outside of obedience to be born again is prayer. Prayer is the place where the divine and the finite meet; a Holy God’s call to an imperfect world of souls in need of salvation. He wants our communion with Him. This is a pattern and a principle that is the way of entering into His Rest.

For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.  To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing.” Isaiah 28:11-12 KJV

 Pray for the Comforter to come to you. Pray the prayer of staying in His presence. Do just as He says, tarry. Wait upon the Lord. For He shall endue you with power from on high. If you have not yet received the baptism of the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in tongues. This is your invitation to tarry. Find your Upper Room, and stay there to receive His promise. In prayer and praise with faith believing, you shall receive His fullness in His wonderful name.

The Lord says, enter into My presence this day. Be filled with My Spirit. For the promise is unto you all, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. It is time for the great outpouring of My Spirit in this time. Know that My ways are good. For every good and perfect gift is from above. I AM the baptizer of the Holy Ghost and fire. You shall speak with other tongues as I give thee the utterance. Know that the time of My movement is now. For you are to tarry, says the Lord. To all who know My Spirit infilling, pray for those that are lost but seeking. Pray for My Spirit to be poured out in all the Earth. The time and the season is now. Blessed are those that weep before Me in prayer. For My time and My hour shall come. Continue steadfastly in prayer My dear ones. Prepare ye the way of the Lord. Seek Me this day. For the Holy One is near unto you. All is given in My name, thus saith the Lord, Amen.
