Colossians 3:1-4
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
The greatest ministry given to the created is to minister unto God in the place of prayer. God shares His heartbeat with only those whom seek Him for His purposes. He speaks in His Word, “Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart” (Psalms 37: 3-4). The Lord longs to feed the soul with the things of His heart. A vessel that serves the Lord, knows His heart, mind, and emotions as well as they know their own. Abiding in the cleft of the Rock gives safety, but it also gives assurance; assurance that one is kept by their trusted Father. When a vessel trusts the Lord in relationship and in obedience to His Word, He will pour Himself out to this chosen one without repentance. We receive His heart. He accepts us into the Beloved “Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved” (Ephesians 1:5-6). Developing a closeness with the Lord, Jesus comes with seeking Him for Himself and nothing else. The Lord seeks a sacred romance. His divine love demands it. So many times, He cries out in His Spirit for us to want His presence in our daily lives, when we only seek Him in convenience and in crisis. Prayer is a place of divine connection to our divine Creator, to our Savior that loves with sacrifice. Finding delight in the Lord in communion with the Holy One, moves His heart. Prayer is ministry unto God for the purposes of the fulfillment of His Kingdom. Prayer is truly a partnership with the Holy One of Israel to bring His will forth unto all the Earth. Purposeful prayer is intercession and praise for His purposes; a place to know His heart, mind, and perfect will; a place to listen to His cry and respond. Kingdom prayer is the plan of God made manifest. Eternal Glory awaits the intercessor that prays for the Kingdom sake. For a manifestation of Christ is surely in their wake. All things of the Lord are birthed in the Spirit of prayer. For the prayers of the saints are heard by the ear of the Holder of All Things to bring forth divine appointing. Know His desires more than your own, seeker of truth. For you are to be one with Jesus Christ. Set your eyes upon things above that have the only true value that can be held.
